2008 dyna

Hey guys, it's been a long time!!!
Stupid question time, Momma just broke down and bought me a brand new StreetBob. Now, my question is, can I bang out the baffle in the stock mufflers with fucking up the computer/ fuel mix.
Just temporary till I can afford real pipes. The bike is just too damn quiet.

yes.. use a hole saw on a long chuck.. 1 1/8 in. diameter blade i think it is.. simple, quick , effective .. if you lived close by , i could hook you up on that ..

Hey Dave,
PanHead Willie here (minus the Pan).
Been pestering you for advice for a long time now.
Busting that plate out won't fuck with the computer/fuel mix?
I'm asking because we used to re-jet the carbs to put on drags.
The difference in flow should not be that great, but I'm not sure how sensitive these new computers are.
Thanks

This Is One That Is Talked About Often Some People Have Done Ok With It Some Claim You Have To Remap. But I Think As Long As You Do Not Knock The Plate Out Of The Back On The Baffle It's Self You Will Be Fine. The You Can Always Check The Pipes And The Plugs For A Few Miles.
